Who Can Join the Corpus Christi Black Chamber of Commerce?

In 1943, the Corpus Christi Black Chamber of Commerce was established primarily to assist African Americans and minorities in establishing, promoting, and helping to grow their businesses in Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend. Throughout the years, we have opened our doors to many others. Any person, association, corporation, partnership, or organization expressing an interest in joining the Black Chamber, and who will uphold the Purpose and Mission of the Black Chamber shall be eligible for membership in the Black Chamber.

There are 2 Classes of Membership:

Business and Non-Business.

The Business Class is based on the number of Members or Employees in your organization.  The Business Categories are: Small, Medium, Premium, and Corporate. Also included are: Non-Profit Groups, Faith-Based Groups, Civic Groups and Young Entrepreneurs-(up to 35 years of age).

The Non Business/Associate Class was established to be inclusive of persons who are non business owners having a desire to be supportive of and having a role in the Chamber. This class includes, but not limited to,  non business owners, Collegiate, and Young Professionals.
